LGBTQ+ Wedding Photographer

Congratulations! You're engaged and on the hunt for a wedding photographer as special as your love story is. Which makes me
very honoured that you have found my page and stumbled across
another member of the LGBTQ+ community who is
obsessed with love stories (aka me!)

I'm Lauren, I am part of the LGBTQ+ community and a wedding photographer covering all of the UK and beyond. My speciality is getting to know you and your love story so that I can advocate for you to be unapollogetically yourselves on one of the most special days of your life.

Why choose an LGBTQ+
wedding
photographer?

First and foremost it's important for you to find an LGBTQ+ inclusive wedding photographer. You should feel advocated for and represented within their work so that you can rest assured knowing your love story will be showcased and celebrated by them.

It should go without saying that this would be a given with all wedding suppliers but sadly it isn't always the case. I know how disheartening it can be when genders are assumed, paperwork isn't inclusive or you are treated just slightly differently, like your plans are something out of the norm. And quite frankly, I won't stand for it! When you book me to take you wedding photos you have more than a photographer you have someone who has your back and will go above and beyond to make sure you don't come across unnecessary hurdles on and leading up to your wedding day.

Arguably your love story is extra special! Many people won’t  know how it feels to wonder if you should hold your partner's hand in the new city you are visiting, won't understand how disappointing it feels when you adoringly speak about your partner and have their identity assumed, and the list could go on. Being part of the LGBTQ+ community, these are things I have experienced myself in relationships and it can be really lovely to have someone by your side who gets it. Heck, for some in our community it wasn't even possible to say 'I do' in this country a decade ago, so go ahead and enjoy your love story being extra special and worth some serious celebrating!

"We could not have picked a more perfect photographer for our wedding day!! Lauren knew exactly what we wanted from our photos and really ‘got us’ from the very first meeting, she felt like a friend the whole time!
She was so much fun to have with us on the day and made us feel super comfortable in front of the camera. She did so much more than just take photos and was so helpful all day. The second photographer she brought along was also incredible and they had such a fun dynamic between them. We are completely obsessed with the  photos. Highly recommend Lauren to everybody for your wedding photography/hype girl needs!!"
